UCI

arg so my morning started off with another argument with my dad. i was in the mom with my car telling her that by next month i will start getting letters of acceptance from CSU's. and i was explaining how from bottom to top its community college , csu, uc, and then private. my dad ask what i applied for and i said.. ucsd, uci, ucr, ucsb, sdsu, csulb, csuf, and csun. suddenly he starts bitching bout how expensive it is. and here is how the argument went..
dad: i want you to go to a community college for the first two years
me: well if i got to a csu it's a better chance to get into UC when i transfer
dad: i want you to apply for csula then transfer to usc
me: well it's too late now cause i don't have any more free applications and i already sent them in
dad: it'll save you money just to live at home blah blah blah
me: why should i go to what school you want? it's my future and i should make the decision on what i want to study and what i want to major in.
dad: do you even get scholarships at that church!?
me: yeah everything i'm doing there is helping me get money for scholarship
dad: those koreans are going to be on top of the line and you'll just be getting little money cause your stupid
me: my church doesn't have koreans
dad: yeah you do, i know that church *points to young nak
me: no i don't go to that church. i go to the other one
dad: oh yeah? whats there? mexicans?
me: and chinese, cambodian, vietnamese, etc
dad: how much will you get ? whats the max? whats the min?
me: it all depends
dad: ha your wasting your time
me: then why are you paying for my older sister to go to a private school and study art? why are you trying to determine my future? just because she didn't do what you wanted her to do, you think you can do that to me too? i've already made my decision on what i wanted to do since freshmen year.
dad: *silence.. you better go work for your mom. she's your money

-- fuck you jackass. why are you so stereotypical? why should i go to what college you want me to do? you don't think i can do it? well fuck you. it's like how you made me go to verdugo. did i like it? hells no i hate it. why should i go to the colleges YOU want? shouldn't i go to a school where i'm comfortable and will enjoy being at? should i be making decisions bout my future?

anyways. so uci is a pretty school! the ring road looks like a nice run every morning! i got to see edward and anthony! too bad stacy went back to SD this weekend :[ so after our college tour, we headed to new port beach, and we ended up not staying cause they didn't allow bbq anymore. so instead we went to Mason Regional Park for our bbq. it was a nice relax afternoon. we laids around, ate, took pictures. lol jiaying and her ducks. well i'm too lazy to get into details for this blog.

anyways imma continue working on my mickey mouse puzzle so i can start on my tigger! :D
